OTTOMANCER LICENSE
Version 1.0 — applies to Ottomancer v0.13 and later unless replaced

Plain-language summary (the license is the numbered text below):
  You can use Ottomancer for anything, free, forever — hobby or
  commercial. Everything you MAKE with it is entirely yours, including to
  sell. The only things you may not do are sell or redistribute the software
  itself, modify it, or build it into another product.

1. GRANT
   You are granted a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use Ottomancer
   Particles (the "Software") for any purpose, personal or commercial,
   without payment or registration.

2. YOUR WORK IS YOURS
   Everything you create with the Software — particle systems, animations,
   exported files of every format, images, videos, and any work
   incorporating them — belongs entirely to you. You may use, publish, and
   sell it without restriction, attribution, or royalties. No rights over
   your output are claimed, ever.

3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
   a. Sell, rent, license, or otherwise charge for the Software itself, in
      whole or in part.
   b. Redistribute the Software as your own, or bundle it with or embed it
      into another product, application, service, or website, whether free
      or paid.
   c. Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Software,
      or remove or alter its name, version, or this license.
   d. Misrepresent the origin of the Software or claim authorship of it.

4. SHARING
   Telling people about the Software and linking them to the official
   website is welcome and encouraged. The website is the only official
   way to access the Software.

5. NO WARRANTY
   The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express
   or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of
   merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
   It is a work in progress, made by one person in their free time; it may
   contain errors. Use it at your own risk and keep backups of work you
   care about.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   In no event shall the author be liable for any claim, damages, or other
   liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising
   from, out of, or in connection with the Software or its use.

7. PRIVACY
   The Software runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, transmit,
   or store any of your data or projects anywhere but your own machine.

8. NAME
   "Ottomancer" is the name of this software and identifies the
   official version. Do not use the name for modified or repackaged copies.

9. TERMINATION
   This license ends automatically if you breach section 3. Sections 5 and 6
   survive termination.

If you are unsure whether a use is allowed, ask — the intent is simple:
make things with it, sell what you make, enjoy it; just don't sell or
repackage the tool itself.
